Hello, My name is Skye Fassett and
I'm what you call a bit of a photography enthusiast. Since I was a very young girl I've always been drawn to pictures be they in magazines, books, photo albums, or even on the walls of local businesses. There's just something about the of colors, shapes, faces, and light coming together in perfect harmony that I find irrevocably fascinating.

I've always believed that the best photos are those that are hard to look away from. The kind that catch your eye and make you want to study every tiny pixel. And when you think you've seen it all you have to look back just once more to make sure you didn't miss anything. Those are the kinds of photos I strive to take every single day at Skye Fassett Photography. Photos that are engaging, compelling, and worthy of showcasing your home or your listing.

I was inspired by my Mom that took her Canon AE-1 every we went. I remember her in college taking photography and talking about exposures, lighting, and developing film in a darkroom. I would sometimes sit with her at our community news paper, The Buhl Herald and watch her in the darkroom. The most fascinating part was the huge enlarger for printing large prints. Now ,I develop images not in a darkroom but with programs on the computer.

What I love about photography are it’s many forms. From landscapes, people, and homes there is always something different and exciting about it.

The different layout of each home is so interesting and I love capturing the nuanced details. To me, real estate photography is all about showing the home’s best features and amazing details.

That's always my goal to showcase what is special about each home. Let me share my passion, inherent fascination, and appetite for real estate photography with you.
